Changing Color Pod Pavilion In Kuala Lumpur
Built in Petaling Jaya, west of Kuala Lumpur (Malaysia) this worm-like Pod pavilion creates a sustainable landmark building for this suburb. Studio Nicoletti Associates and Hijjas Kasturi Associates commissioned by MKH Group created daylit exhibition hall built with tubular steel parts covered with reflective aluminum shell. The shell changes its color depending on the number of sunlight it gets and the strategically planned windows provide enough sunlight to both wings of the building housing some office space and a showroom.
