Building To Reduce Carbon Emission In Chicago

To cut down on tremendous CO2 emission from cars in the Eisenhower Expressway, Danny Mui & Benjamin Sahagun offer to split the Congress Gateway Towers applying the system of filtration tools and carbon scrubbers that purify carbon dioxide and other air polluting substances. The CO2ngress Gateway Towers absorb carbon emissions and feed those to algae grown in the building. The two towers joined by a bridge housing a public restaurant create an iconic gateway to the city. For the residents’ convenience the double-skin façade offers enclosed balconies simultaneously reducing traffic noise.
