So many Parisians and visitors walk over numerous bridges across the Seine every day. Isn’t it dull just to walk across the bridge, a Paris-based architecture agency AZC is wondering. The agency would like to invite everyone to engage on a newer and more playful path across the same water – an inflatable ‘bridge’ across the Seine that would enable people to bounce above the river and view the Eiffel Tower. The concept bridge is made up of large inflatable modules with trampolines in the middle. The trampolines would enable people to see their surroundings in a new and unusual way. Floating buoys are attached together by cord to create a stable and self-supporting group, while each module develops while under tension into an arch-like form. Close location of the bridge to the Eiffel Tower would no doubt provide a unique experience and viewpoint.
