Is America Ready For The Drone Age?




A Senate Judiciary Committee met on Capitol Hill on Thursday to heed the concerns about the use of unmanned aerial vehicles in the US. Privacy advocates and law enforcement agents gave the pros and cons of the robotic craft and discussed the laws used to govern the drones. Amie Stepanovich, director of EPIC’s Domestic Surveillance Project, was there and she joins us to explain how regulations from the 1980s are obsolete in today’s drone age.
