World’s Largest 3D Printing Pavilion (+VIDEO)
The KamerMaker designed by DUS architects has been recently unveiled in central Amsterdam. The project is claimed to be the world’s first 3D printer pavilion that can produce entire rooms. This mobile printing facility that can travel around the world displays amazing 3D printing’s ability to print rooms, houses, buildings, structures and even additional 3D printing pavilions. The KamerMaker is housed in an 18-foot shipping container; the pavilion is positioned to print out taller shapes in relation to its footprint, and if tipped lengthwise on its side, the printer is adjusted to produce longer, wider shapes.
