Green & Ultra Thin Battery
NEC Corp has created a super thin Organic Radical Battery (ORB) of only 0.3 mm which can now fit into traditional IC cards. The ORB is tremendously flexible and has a charging time of 30 seconds. The use of printing technologies made this thin battery possible. Now the ORB can bring changes to the looks of displays and other gadgets. One more advantage of the ORBs is their environmental friendliness.
