MIT researchers have created glass that prevents glare and fog out of nano-textures. The glass covered in nano-scale cones takes inspiration from the semiconductor industry. The technology could be used to solve glare problems in various screens and displays, make solar panels 40 percent more efficient, and improve cameras usability in humid conditions. We’ve mentioned this technology before, and now the researchers have filed an application to patent it. Hopefully, soon the technology will be used to solve glare problems in various screens and displays, make solar panels 40 percent more efficient, build windshields, and improve cameras usability in humid conditions, etc.
