A new concept car NSC-2015 has been unveiled by Nissan at CEATEC in Japan. It is reported that 90% of all accidents are caused by human factor error. According to Toru Futami, expert leader for Nissan’s IT & ITS development department, their team aimed to create a machine that could reduce error possibility to zero and thus prevent an accident before it happens. Besides, they also managed to lower time-loss, e.g. time spent on looking for a parking place. The NSC-2015 features ‘Automated Valet Parking’ technology connects to the driver’s smartphone and enables them to maintain full remote control. This vehicle can park itself and if necessary return and pick you up. Besides, the car boasts an all-around view camera that reacts to suspicious behavior and alerts the driver, who can activate an alarm.
