Dancing Dragons: Architectural Eclectics
Dancing Dragons in Seoul, South Korea are two very tall mixed-use and mixed architecture towers that will include an office, residential areas and retail elements. AS+GG created the scale-like design not just for aesthetic purposes, but as well to provide operable vents of 600mm to allow air circulation. Dancing Dragons will include window units to minimize heat loss, natural ventilation and shading, solar panels on the roofs, daylight linked lighting controls, radiant heating, and heat recovery through the use of electric centrifugal chillers. On top of all the goodies, the 23,000 square meters building will have a sunken garden and a retail podium.
