Spherical Solar Cells Concept

spherical solar cells
Japanese company Kyosemi has developed the Sphelar – it is a spherical tiny solar cell capable of capturing sunlight from all directions. The mini domes are located on a hemispheric base unit that takes full advantage of the exposure to the sun from any side and angle. The revolutionary shape cancels the need for motors that often turn flat panels, and permits to place more units onto a smaller surface area.
