Apple’s “Shake To Charge” Technology Might Soon Power Your Gadgets
Do you have any gadget that you can shake in order to power it? Electromagnetic induction is a production of an electric current in a conductive element as it moves through a magnetic field, which is used to generate power for gadgets. Whereas used today to power some flashlights and radios, the Apple patent has uncovered the Cupertino company’s intention to use this technology in the nearest future in their products. Unlike a traditional method of electromagnetic induction, where a coil moves around a stationary magnet, Apple’s version will use printed coils with moveable magnets. In accordance with the patent, it can be set onto a portable device, like Apple’s iPod and iPhone.
