World Most Powerful: Quantum Computer

world most powerful, quantum computer
Michael Biercuk from University of Sydney with the team of researchers claims to discover a tiny crystal of beryllium ions, a quantum computer that could outperform traditional computers even if they are of the size of universe. The minute crystal of 300 atoms is poised in vacuum inside a six-inch metal trap. Laser beams are used to influence the condition of individual atoms and the general site overtakes the size of a room. According to Biercuk it may take a decade or two for the crystal to be integrated into commercial computing.
