Uniform With Bio-Sensors: Identifying CBRNE Agents And Soldier’s Location

The new uniform for the army is not just to protect from wind and sun, but also assist the doctors while saving a soldier’s life. Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) has created a new set of proposals of intelligent clothing to aid wounded soldiers. Fir this, the bio-sensors are to locate the bullet or exposure to CBRNE (Chemical Biological Radiological Nuclear and Explosive) agents, then inform the medical personnel of the vital stats of the soldier, identify the agent by analyzing the blood, saliva, urine or sweat of the soldier, and locate a wounded with the help of GPS integrated into the fabric. This uniform with all the sensors still has to stay lightweight and durable.
