Dynamic physical keyboard for touchscreens that would be exactly what the company Tactus presented. That is actually a “Tactile Layer” manifesting itself in the physical buttons when there’s a need to type something on a screen, and receding right back into it when a user is done typing. Tactus states this layer can be applied to screens of various widths and does not require any significant power, thus having potential for smartphones, automobile displays, ebook readers, medical devices and much much more. The technology is to hit the market as early as 2013.
