Skyscraper On The Sea

SeaOrbiter by Jacques Rougerie
Jacques Rougerie (French architect) has come up with this skyscraper-boat named SeaOrbiter for the ocean exploration. This 58-meter-high and 500 tones in weight vessel is to give an opportunity for 18-22 researchers to spend 24 hours a day underwater. This watercraft will let astronauts experience close to space states in the pressurized environments. The concept, currently presented at World Expo 2012 in Korea, will utilize ocean currents to travel, as well as use sun, wind and wave energy to propel itself.
