mind controlled robot
For the first time ever the robot was controlled directly by a human brain of the person physically being 2,000 miles away. Bar-Ilan University (Israel) student Tirosh Shapira was in an fMRI (functional magnetic resonance imaging) machine controlling with his brainwaves a networked robot situated in France. The technology may be used to change lives of disabled or paralyzed, to work while laying in bed, to control robot astronauts or even to command military robots. As usual, the technology is just a means, leading to various outcomes in different hands.
