prototype 3D printing
Called the Dream Vendor, this vending machine designed by Dr. Chris Williams, the Director of Virgina Tech DREAMS Lab and his student Amy Elliot, is a prototyping tool to transform ideas into reality through additive manufacturing. This interactive 3D printing tool allows fabricating prototypes for academic, design and personal projects. To access this infinite inventory the user has to simply insert an SD card with a 3D printer code, and take out the physical form of your idea from a bin after it’s created.
