MasterCard’s Display Card Technology Ensures High Security Level
Continuing growth in online and now mobile initiated remote payments require higher security level of the payment cards. Singapore’s first interactive payment card, which uses MasterCard’s Display Card technology, has been presented by MasterCard and Standard Chartered Bank. The card produced by NagraID Security combines the practicality of a standard payment card with an innovative identification method. It features an embedded LCD display and touch-sensitive buttons, which enable cardholders to create a unique One-Time Password. MasterCard aims to add such functions as indicating your available credit balance, recent transactions, loyalty points, and other real-time information.
