Enjoyable Augmented Reality Gaming

Hasbro’s Lazer Tag adds an augmented reality layer to the classic hide, seek and shoot game. And it does it right. The Lazer Tag app the users have to download to their iPhone 3GS, 4, 4S or fourth generation iPod Touch is fast, responsive to all the aiming and has a veer of features that add depth to the game. The Lazer Tag app has a single player mode in which a gamer can shoot augmented reality enemies appearing onscreen in all directions, seeing weapons firing lasers at aliens, explosions when enemies are destroyed and blue shields when they’re activated. In multiplayer mode twenty-four players can join in for team battles. Lazer Tag is on the shelves starting August 1 for $39.99 in two color schemes: yellow/gray or orange/white, a bundle pack coming later on October 1 for $74.99.
