E Ink Watch: The World’s Thinnest Watch (+VIDEO)
The world’s thinnest watch has been designed by the Central Standard Timing at CES 2013. An E Ink watch is just 0.80 millimeters thin, it is actually a single, razor-thin cuff. It was made by laminating flexible components together into a single piece of flexible stainless steel. CST repors that the watch uses an embedded micro-energy cell that allows it to charge in 10 minutes from an external dock, and that it will last for 15 years. The project currently needs funding on Kickstarter, and can be pre-ordered for $129 each.
