Control Twitter Roaches From Your Smartphone
Have you ever thought of controlling cockroaches’ movements by sending them tweets from your smartphone? Brittany Ransom created Twitter Roach to find out whether insects will respond to a bulk of external signals in a similar way to humans. The small rucksack on its back receives customized wireless signals, then transfers the signals directly to the bug’s antennae. So you can send tweets to @TweetRoach with commands like  #TweetRoachLeft or #TweetRoachRight, and the bug must respond. A funny invention might be very useful if all cockroaches were born with this feature built right in.
