Woven Tower To Reveal Traditional Values Of Dubai

Architects Giuseppe Farris and Stefan Schoning joined in an effort to propose the Woven Tower spiral interwoven design representing various aspects of the culture of Dubai. The outside design of its façade is to reveal the historic trade routes, the date palm, being an important commercial product and its fibers being used heavily in the everyday life, in fishing boats or palm weaving craft, and to represent tribal legacy of the country too. The building has multiple entrances and openly structured ground level leading to pages of the history of Dubai situated on different stories of the structure.
