Unmanned Military Drones Help In Surveillance Work
Quadcopters and other drones has been used for a long time for military purposes, in reconnoiter, in sport and even in modern art as a geeks’ toy, but have now become police assistants. AeroVironment has developed the Qube designed to be a low-cost, reusable craft for surveillance during police actions. These unmanned military drones are small enough to fit in a police cruiser’s trunk and could be of great help in surveillance work, with the weight of just five pounds and three feet long. Besides they can fly as high as 500 feet, remaining airborne for up to 40 minutes.
