Cornwall peninsula (the UK), famous for its powerful tides, is to become known for the green power project soon. Nowadays, a tidal power plant is being built there, and by 2050 the fully implemented project is to generate 27 gigawatts of energy substituting approximately eight medium-sized coal-fired plants. The total cost of the plant is to top 15 billion pounds sterling, which will begin to get paid back as early as in the nest two-three years. One more good thing is that the project creators promise to take care of the marine life around the peninsula, covering the blades with the grid.
