The First 3D Printing Photo Booth in Japan
Omote 3D will soon open the world’s first 3D printing photo booth at the EYE OF GYRE exhibition space in Harajuku, Japan. Due to this technology you’ll get a unique chance of getting a life-like miniature of yourself or your beloved. At first your body will be scanned into a computer (it will take about 15 minutes), then the company will print your statuette on their 3D color printer. Its sizes will range from small (Max. 10cm, 20g), US$403 to large (Max. 20cm, 200g), US$528. Visiting this “photo” booth seems to cost you dear, though there will be special discounts for couples and families. If you wish, it would be also possible to adjust your hair color and clothing on the 3D model.
