To be built in Lea Country (New Mexico) a scientific ghost town will cost around a billion dollars and will have no dwellers. This first of a kind city is to be a testing ground for scientific innovations, like intelligent cars, next-gen wireless network, or anything else. In fact, being the Center for Innovation, Testing and Evaluation this project will take about 15 square miles. Its construction start date was set for June 30.
