O2 Pursuit Motorcycle Powered By Compressed Air
The O2 Pursuit motorcycle project developed by the industrial designer Dean Benstead from Melbourne is in fact a prototype motorcycle powered by compressed air as an alternative fuel. This bike boasts a Yamaha WR250R frame, a DiPietro Air Engine by Engineair Australia, and a standard scuba diving tank. It develops a speed of 87 km per hour, drives up to 100 km on one tank and could be widely used for off road riding and city commuting. It will be possible to locate air refill stations navigable via the user’s integrated smart phone and GPS system in the suburbs or in rural area.
