The Micromodulo is a personalized dome-shaped housing module by designer Mark Beccaloni is created to allow users to escape the system without rejecting the comforts of home. The eco module is around 30 square meters and supports a system of self-sustained lifestyle, where every household should not just consume but produce goods or services as well. The spacing needs can be expanded via additional cylindrical modules. The flushless toilet called the envirolet minimizes the fresh water waste and allows fertilizer production. A mushroom-like water collection system guarantees fresh water supply. The photovoltaic panels allow inhabitants to get off the electric grid and even sell the surplus power. The special materials and insulation provide the eco benefits of the passive house.
