India’s And China’s Space Missions In 2013

This year India and China will make a major step toward space expolartion. China will try its first ever soft landing on the moon after its Chang’e 3 satellite sets down. It also aims to launch a human crew and its next space station Tiangong-2,which will bring it one step closer to completing an orbiting space laboratory in 2020.
Regarding India, this year the country is going to send a probe to orbit Mars to study the planet’s climate and history. Furthermore it will launch its first satellite dedicated to astronomy research, Astrosat, which will observe the sky in X-ray wavelengths for stellar and cosmic phenomena.
