Florida Polytechnic is moving to a new campus that will accommodate more students, started the construction with the Science and Technology building by Santiago Calatrava. The moving structure is planned involving the brise soleil techniques which provide both natural ventilation and temperature control through the sun shading. For housing all the activities, the campus is designed with a garden terrace and a pergola to act as an outdoor seating space and a ground. In both of its states: open and closed the brise soleil will be the visual highlight of the new Science & Technology building.
