DNA Used As Rewritable Computer Memory
Bio-engineering scientists at Standford University (the U.S.) have thought of how to use short sections of DNA as advanced rewritable data bits. To utilize a biological system as a stable memory storage computing item a pair of proteins fine-tuned from viruses to flip the DNA sections is utilized. The corresponding report was published in the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences.
