iPad-controlled Parrot AR.Drone Brings Disabled Higher Level Of Independence (+VIDEO)

Researchers at Zhejiang University developed the iPad-controlled Parrot AR.Drone, which is a modified version of the second generation Parrot AR.Drone. This quadcopter is controlled with one’s brain waves, using EEG wired to the person’s head. It will be able to read one’s signals that then will be processed on a computer, the latter will send an equivalent command to the drone without wires. The smart gadget aims to ensure higher level of independence to disabled through assisting them in exploring surroundings more freely.
