Car That Runs On Air By Tata

tata compressed air
Indian auto-producer Tata Motors has announced to have tested two cars that run on compressed air. It hasn’t been the first car manufacturer to come up with this idea, however may become the first one to proceed with it, if the automaker solves two main problems. First being the speed, as a car running on compressed air is known to reach 30-35 mph tops, and to increase the speed one should use an onboard air compressor powered by air or by gasoline. Thought, even if powered by gasoline, carbon emission will be reduced significantly as the compressor will be activated at moderate to high speed. Second, is a short driving range, as the tank needs to be strong enough to withstand the pressure and would take couple of hours to get filled up.
