If you’re tired of fighting wind with your umbrella on a rainy day and it’s hard to hold it, so that it would not go inverted, you’ll be glad to hear about the Airblow 2050, the futuristic umbrella concept. The Airblow designed by the French designer Quentin Debaene has recently received a nomination for the James Dyson Award. Unlike usual textile umbrellas, the concept uses a powerful stream of air to cover you from the rain. The powerful Dyson motor can silently draw in and push out air in speeds that would keep its owner from being hit by the rain. The unusual umbrella is currently just a concept, though it is planned to be available before 2050.
