Add Up Will Convert Foreign Loose Change
This year’s Red Dot Award winner is the Add Up design concept. One of the travelers’ burning issues, converting loose change, will be brought to a close due to this innovation. The exchange box takes in your foreign coins and converts it into your domestic currency; this amount can be then transferred to your phone account as a credit or added as Skype points. Every time you convert your coins there’s a decimal remainder that needs to be rounded off, the smart device will automatically transfer this micro exchange to a preferred registered charitable organization. Though it may seem a small amount at first glance, but if we multiply it by over two billion (the world’s annual number of travelers), it can actually be of great importance to our society.
