The Largest Post Panamax Supertanker Is Solar & Sail Hybrid
Called Deliverance, this Emax Supertanker is to become the longest2 million barrel 330,000DWT crude oil carrier. Half of the energy consumed by the Deliverance Supertanker comes from LNG and the other half is obtained from wind and sun via her DynaWing sails and Solbian Solar power generating array. Thus, the fuel consumption and gasses emission is reduced by up to 75%, making this vessel both economically and ecologically attractive.
