Sportscar Concept By Giampiero Sbrizzi Turns Vibrations Into Energy
Inspired by music, Giampiero Sbrizzi has presented a Pininfarina Chords Concept, a future sportscar, that features similar vibration strings system, which is produced by musical instruments. Due to the innovative technology (Mini Energy Harvest) developed at MIT this car transforms any low frequency vibrations coming from those strings into energy. The strings are set to the car’s exterior elements that are made in mahogany; the body panels are made from carbon fiber and composite plastics. This smart car concept seems pretty compact, its overall size is: 3,850mm (L) x 1,650mm (W) x 1,300mm (H).
