Solar Wind Bridge, green energy
The Solar Wind Bridge is a second award winning design by Francesco Colarossi, Giovanna Saracino and Luisa Saracino for Solar Park Works – Solar Highway competition. This bridge accommodates both wind turbines in the spaces between the pillars and a sturdy grid of solar cells mounted into the road surface. The elevated Solar Wind Bridge is calculated to provide enough energy to satisfy the needs of 115,000 homes and was designed for the highway between Bagnera and Scilla in Italy.
