Team of scientists from Michigan Technological University tried to make use of graphene electric conductivity. They successfully mixed it with titanium dioxide creating a paste to generate around 52 percent more current and raise the solar cells efficiency. This process was successfully presented at the US Egypt Joint Workshop in March.
