Skyway: Life-Saving Vehicle Will Arrive In 60 Seconds
In future emergency medical teams will get to your location just in 60 seconds, flying around a single-seater VTOL jet. The Skyway concept, a life-saving vehicle designed by Daniel Dobrogorsky, is smaller, faster and more stable if compared to a usual emergency helicopter. Moreover, it is rather safe, cause it uses six ducted fans to carry the helicopter up into the air, thus no exposed propellers are endangering anyone on the ground. The paramedic piloting the craft keeps all the necessary tools onboard for work on the ground, or can quickly take a patient back to the hospital in case a serious help is needed. The Skyway’s nose opens up to serve as a stretcher.
