Gosha Galitsky, the Umeâ Institute of Design (Sweden) graduate has conceived a machine paving roads without stopping traffic. The Dynapac Red Carpet allows cars to pass over, while re-heating and shaping the road surface with the help of Hot-in-Place Recycling process utilizing microwaves. The Red Carpet moves so slowly that the recycled pavement has time to cool, while cars narrower than 78.7 inches can pass over the top of the machine.
