Never-Ending Fresh Milk Thanks to Milkmaid
It’s hard to think of anything that can be more disappointing in the morning for your watering mouth than finding out your milk’s spoiled after you have already poured it into a bowl of your favorite cereal. GE Labs alongside with crowdsource manufacturers Quirky have worked out a wonderful solution to this problem – the Milkmaid. It is a clever milk jug with sensors that measure pH level of milk and thus inform you via a text message when the pH level drops and the milk literally becomes sour. Moreover, the smart Milkmaid controls the amount of milk in the jug and advises you to replenish your milk supplies through an integrated iPhone application.
