Minimalist Living In A Glass House

If you are a bold person, ignoring the evident practical concerns, with a fair amount of money in the bank, owning a plot of land with no close proximity to neighbours, you would love the Glass House concept designed by Ennio Arosio. The project aims at promoting Santambrogio’s range of glass furniture called Simplicity, much of which can be seen sitting in the concept home. Nevertheless the house is said to be a wonderful option for those visiting Santambrogio’s showrooms in London, Milan, and New York. Its price £4,000 (US$6,200) per square meter makes it an expensive housing, taking into account expenses for buying a plot suitable to build it. Of course, it’s a debatable question, if this house is practical enough. It’s not clear yet, how much a house like this would cost to heat, would it survive intact and blemish-free for a long time. Still, it is an interesting concept, deserving our attention.
