Epiphany Labs is a team of professionals enthusiastic about inventing new technologies to develop products that make positive changes throughout the world. They have designed the Epiphany One Puck project that will charge up your phone utilizing the power of hot and cold drinks. Epiphany plans to use a stirling engine powered solely by heat differences; these heat sources will provide enough power to the stirling engine to fully charge your cell phone battery. The lightweight, portable device has two sides, a red and a blue, and all you have to do is to place a hot drink on the red side, or a cold drink on the blue side. The Epiphany onE Puck easily connects to your iPhone, iPod, Android, or any device that uses a USB charger drawing 1000 mA or less. The One Puck is only a prototype at the moment, though developers hope to raise $100,000 on Kickstarter and put the gadget soon on the market.
