GT3D Glasses Will Make It Easier For Disabled To Interact With Computers (+VIDEO)

Researchers at the Imperial College in London have designed a special pair of glasses that will let people with limited mobility interact with a computer using only their eyes. The GT3D, is a pair of glasses with two cameras hooked on to the sides which keep track of the wearer’s eye movements; the changing positions of their pupils are recorded and transformed into a computer input — just how a mouse or trackball would. The smart device can measure the depth of where a wearer is looking, thus in future it might be applied for controlling or driving a wheelchair, just by focusing on a spot in the distance where the wearer wants to go.
