An innovative phone concept that can reduce energy and electricity loss has been developed by Daizi Zheng for a Nokia project to envision an eco-friendly phone for the future. Its chemical board converts the enzyme (a substance which acts as a catalyst to bring about a specific biochemical reaction), contained in sweet drinks into electric power, enabling users to charge their phone with soda or fruit drinks. The idea of the concept is following: the liquid is poured into a cylindrical container attached to the back of the mobile phone; when sugar and carbs have been turned into power, ther’s only oxygen left and water can be poured out. The phone is equipped with fully biodegradable bio-batteries that can last up to three to four times longer than usual lithium batteries on a single charge.
