Carbon Nanotube Chips Could Turn Smartphones Into Supercomputers
Subhasish Mitra and H.-S. Philip Wong are developing a new generation of computers with processors based on carbon nanotubes or CNTs. This would lead to skyscraper chips — CNT processors and memory stacked in layers – to put supercomputer power into a smartphone.
