Bird-Friendly Skyscraper

Bird Friendly Skyscraper, future tower
Aqua Tower by Studio Gang Architects won a PETA award for bird-deflecting elements. It is an 823-foot building holdong 55,000 square feet of retail and office space, 476 rental residential units, 210 hotel rooms, and 263 condominium units & penthouses. How is it birds-friendly? It sets the window elements back behind the small terraces or balconies, thus making it more visible to birds. Neat!
