3-D Printed Tentacular Robot Will Be Used For Medical Purposes (+VIDEO)
It’s obvious at first glance, that the 3-D printed silicone robot designed by Matthew Borgatti has a strong resemblance to the male sexual organ. This flexible tentacle is soft, organic and features unique mimicry of nature. It not only erects and moves in a penile way, its internal structure is similar to that of the human penis. The designer of the robot claims, that soft robotics might be used as medical supports for patients with carpal tunnel or stroke victims trying to recover the use of an arm.
